Grayson's problems have to do with his personal life and demeanor, his policy positions are principled, and electable.

I still hold an opinion that idiots must be unelectable. And Grayson is a patented idiot - a sort of Democratic O'Donnell or Akin (or, may be - both)

When you are given a choice between solid liberal and solid conservative - moderates of swing state sometimes (in good year) vote for liberal enthusiastically. Reluctantly...
