The YouGov. poll that showed Trump leading in the GOP primaries inspired me to create this thread.

How would DT perform against HRC? How would the map look like?

. I would vote for Hillary Clinton, and I surely hope she wins a near 50 state landslide against this asshole.

Clearly, I'm a conservative Republican. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the case:

Might even flip Montana, Indiana, West Virginia, and South Carolina to Clinton.

Trump won't win New York.
Don't flip your colors.

I prefer the official colors. Maybe I'll get used to the Atlas colors after being here a while, but for now I'm sticking to "Red=GOP, Blue=Dems".

Hillary beats Trump 419-119 if EVERYTHING went right for Hillary.

This 296-242 is if everything went right for Trump.  I believe that in this scenario, NY, NJU, CT, and PA would be seriously in play.

Trump's big impact on the race is that he injects elasticity into the race in both directions.  I believe that if Donald Trump were the GOP nominee, there would be a LOT of ticket splitting both ways, at levels reminicent of the 1970s.

I want a poll of Texas. Trump's language about Mexicans is so bad that turnout might be high enough there to flip it.

Lets be real, Trump is an idiot.

385-153. In today's age, that's a gigantic landslide.

Ummm....what?   Are you high?

Trump is downright hated by democrats and independents.    There would be more elasticity with Ted Cruz.

This would be a really funny match up because it features a Democrat who voted for the Iraq War and a Republican who opposed it.

Same with Clinton vs. Paul.

There's no such thing as "official colors" in the US. The Red=Republican, Blue=Democrat schema literally makes zero sense.

Anyone who thought Hillary Clinton would win Arkansas at ANY point, has never been to Arkansas.

She would have been blown out in 2008.

She would have been blown out in 2000.

Not in either one of those years, no. 2012 and beyond, yes.
