Arguably the three strongest of each party. Let's say Chrietien was significantly younger and Jack Layton never died, and both go against Harper, how would this election turn out? Would Harper fall to third place?

When is the election? I doubt Chretien would be much of an asset in the midst of the sponsorship scandal.
