Yea, I'm confused on this part? I've read and caught up to everything else, so crazy that's been banned, but the situation called for some action.

The situation is such that at a minimum he needed to be tempbanned until he is demodded by Dave.

I've never understood why people get so bent out of shape over empty-quoting. It's a wasteful practice but on the scale of waste it's about like forgetting to turn off the bathroom light for a few hours. It's not that big of a deal either way.

I suppose the forum will be better off without it happening but it's strange to see it become such a sticking point for some people.
