Since this thread is devoid of any explaination, I'll bite.
Reagan's world view was very bipolar and started to become obsolete. He still saw the World, esp. Europe, as East vs West, "Democracy" vs Communism, etc. when the Cold War was comming to an end. While I applaud his late efforts to make peace with the Soviets and help end the Cold War, he was a bit too hopeful to believe they would survive past his term (they didn't).
I prefer the Iron Lady as she correctly foresaw the new order and reacted according - that Britain should not adopt the Euro, that the EU would be utterly broken, and the consequences of German reunification.
