AP

A Freedom Party spokesperson announced today that the Freedom Party has selected the Pittsburgh Civic Center, also known as "the Igloo", as the site of their upcoming convention.

"The choice was made for two reasons" the spokesperson was quoted as saying, "First, there is the sentimental value of the site, from the presumed nominee, Senator Supersoutly.  Second, we believe that Pittsburgh is possibly one of the strongest centers of support for our Party and we certainly want to reward that support and want to reflect that out to the rest of the nation.  We want to show the rest of the vountry why this working class, but forward-thinking "city of cities" is so enthusiastic about our Party."

Pittsburgh mayor Tom Murphy announced that he is very exited about the oppertunity to show case Pittsburgh to the rest of the country.  "We are't the same old dingy, smoke-filled city that everyone as heard about anymore," Murphy remarked, "and we are thankful for the oppertunity to show our selves off to Atlasia."

Good thing Pittsburgh is way behind in the Union vote! Smiley

(It would have been fun to have two major parties parading their political greats in the same city)

I was going to cheat in the Kings-Spartans game, but I didn't and Kings won! Cheesy

Now, if only the Sacramento Kings would do something worthy of notice...

Wakie

I would suggest going to the "Strip District".  Some of the greatest ethnic food and music you can find anywhere.

And if y'all want to dump your well-experienced, well-verse, well-rounded candidate and throw a few write-in votes my way at the convention, I'm more than willing to accept them. :-P
