Lyndon B. Johnson finds himself the latest U.S President to be voted off the island in what was the most intense partisian round of voting yet.

Also, in other results, the poll that I conducted in the last round shows that 2/3 of you all approve of the tie-breaking system I've been using of the one hour overtime period.  The other 1/3 of you feel there is a better way to decide ties.   Well,  I'd like to please everyone, but that's impossible.  So I'm gonna have to go with the majority.  The one hour tie-breaker will be used for the rest of the game.

Also, one other announcement and then I'll fire the starting pistol for this round of voting.  I've asked Governor Wildcard to be my backup.  If I am ever not around at midnight eastern time, he will be the one to close the old thread, count the votes, eliminate the president, and start the new thread.

Anyways, that's it from me.   On to voting.  Will we have another partisian round, or will the Dems and Repsl work together on this one.   Only one way to find out.  So fasten your seatbelts.   HERE WE GO.

And voting does end at midnight eastern time, just in case you didn't know.

When did this board get taken over by Republicans?  They are picking off all the 20th century Dems with impugnity.  FDR?  What a joke.

I vote for George W. Bush, since this seems to be the best option to save Roosevelt.

This really needs some more Democrats to vote. Wilson and Carter was mildy annoying. LBJ was quite bad, and going after FDR is seriously ed up.

We're going after FDR so that he doesn't win. You're going after GWB because you're a partisan hack. There's a difference.

Nothing wrong with being a partisan hack. I was just pointing out that that's the reason we're going after him -- not just to bash FDR (although in my personal case, I do hate the guy).

I don't think FDR deserves to win, but I don't think he deserves to get knocked off now.

Oh, it's more than a game -- it's a philosophy, a way of life. The last streak of hope for mankind.
