Three days.

No idea if I'll turn this into an all-out "timeline". Bored at work and I don't feel like reading actual books that will learn me some knowledge.

Basically put: Elected narrowly with a plurality in the 1924 election, President McAdoo would nevertheless experience a brief period of popularity, along with a landslide re-election, before the Great Depression. Despite mobilizing large sums of money in favor of public works projects and re-stabilizing the market, America has yet to recover. Meanwhile, McAdoo has pursued repressive domestic policies including heightened barriers to immigration and a crackdown on "reds" trying to politically organize. Amidst a violent convention, McAdoo's men managed to secure the nomination of Secretary of State Newton D. Baker, who many believe will serve merely to rubber-stamp the "McAdoo agenda". While the nomination of Joseph France by the Republicans was meant to appeal to liberals across the political spectrum, he has failed to excite either wing of the party. With the Democrats and the Republicans alike having failed to foster the loyalty of their progressive wings, and socialists seeking a new outlet after the arrest of former Governor Al Smith (who himself ran as an independent in 1928), the Labor Party has been formed. Combining elements of populism, progressivism, and socialism, it is hoped that a coalition spanning geographic barriers can smash the establishment and pave a new road for American policy. Whom do you choose!?

(Yeah, this situation is basically guaranteed to engineer a specific scenario. Those of you familiar with my work might know where the heck this is intended to go)

Critical support for La Guardia, as William Z. Foster is not an option here.

Senator Robert La Follette Sr. had been dead for 7 years by 1932, Robert M. La Follette Jr. essentially took his place after he died. I imagine you have junior as La Guardia's running mate?
