As much as I would love to hear Joe Biden concede to Jeb Bush come November 2016, the next President is either going to be Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton. My guess is Bush.

If Biden wins the Democratic nomination, he'll pick Klobuchar,  and he could be formidable in the GE. I could see him getting in if he sees a opening.

The next president is going to be Hillary, Walker, or Rubio. Maybe someone else, but unlikely. Bush 3.0 stands no chance in the general; I'd give Cruz a higher chance than him.

I like Biden, especially for his gaffes, but he wouldn't win the election against a strong Republican like Jeb. Maybe he would defeat Cruz or Perry, but everyone knows that those two won't be the GOP nominee.

Biden could win, but a lot would be determined by what sort of primary campaign it would be.  I suppose that Sanders would come around, but just imagine the Scorched Earth campaign Hillary Clinton would run once she found out she was losing, and the responses to her attacks that would be necessitated.

What would happen if Behghazi, the e-mails, and the Clinton Global Initiative all became issues in the PRIMARY season?  A rejection of Hillary Clinton would probably result in Bill Clinton removing himself entirely from the political sphere, and taking his supporters with him.  Oh, they'd politely endorse Biden, but there'd be no juice and muscle coming from Clinton and his backers.  I've never considered Hillary Clinton to be "gracious", and I believe Biden would have Hell to pay if he had to take down HRC to win the nomination.

The only way Biden becomes our next president is if it happens before January 2017.

If Biden doesn't run, I see him being Secretary of State for Hillary.

Why do you think he is going to run for Presidency?

Why he MAY run is perceived weakness of Hillary, who is not as formidable as she seemed to be a year ago.

Why do you think Jeb is a strong candidate?!?

Americans don't want a Bush. We don't. Moderate independents won't vote for him due to that, and he'd have a hard time bringing out conservatives (yes, it's a fact that lots of conservatives stay home--lots of liberals, moderates, libertarians, socialists, and everyone else does, too) due to his relative moderatism.

Cruz would struggle even more to get the moderate independents, but he could bring out conservatives better than anyone else. Perry would lose to anyone not because of his ideology, but because he's an idiot unpolished. Rubio and maybe Walker could bring out both.

Here's proof that Bush 3.0 is a weak candidate: even though he has establishment backing, he's not really moving ahead of the pack in polls. Mitt Romney was doing a lot better than him in 2012, and he was a pretty weak candidate as well (47%? Binders full of women? $10K bet? You'll never catch Jeb saying that, and he's still polling even worse).

Is that really what you think? Have you looked at the polls? They're all over the site.

One reason I believe Jeb will not be President is that the number of "NO MORE BUSHES!" folks amongst Republicans is greater than the number of "NO MORE CLINTONS!" folks amongst Democrats and Independents put together.

Biden could beat Jeb, but I think Rubio might give him a tough time.
