It is weird how Badger was initially picked as the Democrat and Mr. Moderate as the Republican for US General Discussion moderatorship.

While we're at it, I'll go ahead and nominate one of our most well-respected and beloved members, PollsPuffPass.

He would probably end up putting himself on mod review within his first week on the job.  Then he'd reject his own posts, to avoid the criticism.

I'd like to note that had I been modded, we wouldn't be having... certain threads that popped up today. They'd be long gone before the non-mod version of me saw them and then complained about them.

And how is that?  Would the mod version of you be on the forum 24/7?

Either way, no takesies backsies! If you're chosen for moderator duties, you will oblige, or face the wrath of a slighted Leip.

We have actually had a couple of cases in the past where Dave made someone a mod without asking them if they were interested or not.  Thankfully we've moved away from that these last couple of years.
