I wouldn't mind having a shot at moderating if it could help run things more smoothly, but it would need to be on a board I'm active in. So I can't take up Sawx's duties as I'm going to stay away from the 2016 board until January.

Me too. I could be a sub for Hash on IE or help moderate IG, since Peter is no longer active and afleitch are a mod on several boards, but otherwise no.

Tender is a Green with lots of idiosyncracies - some of them right wing

Joe Republic is a Democrat (sort of)
Hash is a Left Lberal of sorts

Alcon and Morden seems like being more on the left than right.

Mods seems to be mostly moderately centre-right. I agree right wingers are generally judged harder than True Leftists, but I think it is mostly because True Leftists are not being taken entirely serious. Some defenders of Left Liberalism are allowed to be nastier than people with other ideologies because they have the standard ideology.

Let's be real here: there is an obvious and correct answer, and it is to add Cathcon and Crabcake.  Turkisblau would also be a strong choice.

No, there isn't. It is just your opinion. Why would Cathcon and Turkisblau be good mods?
