I support South America as the name and 21 MPs. I don't think there's any other name referring to the entirety of the continent (that I know of). Gran Colombia could be interesting, since it's a union of states similar to what we're doing here, but it stills only applies to the Northwest portion of the continent plus Panama.

For lack of better options, it's understood that the amendment offered previously shall strike the name 'Patagonia' and replace it with 'South America.'

How about "Sudamerica" or something like that? If South America is too boring, saying it in a language more popular locally would make sense. Thoughts?

Sudamerica is okay. South America sounds so clinical.

Or even something like "Amerigo," in honour of the explorer who realized Columbus was stupid.

What else is left for this Provisional Parliament to do? Once an electoral law is established and a head of state is chosen and voter rolls prepared, it seems that it should be time for elections.

Alright, one more vote needed to get 11, then I'll propose an amendment to rename it...something. I'll try "Sudamerica" first unless someone would rather I do another name.

I think the main issue here is that we're voting things in a parliamentary fashion already, but for these types of things a different sort of vote would work best, with more options than Aye/Nay/Abstain. Like South America/Sudamerica/Aallpanchik/Amerigo/None Of The Above.
