Kasich's announcing on Tuesday morning at 9:30am in Columbus, Ohio:

https://www.johnkasich.com

As with some of the previous announcements though, there isn't much mystery here.  He's doing a 3 day trip to New Hampshire immediately after the announcement:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=204564.msg4661045#msg4661045

I don't think he's going for vacation.

UPDATE: He's announced:

Apparently he's going to have $5,000,000 spent before the debates in New Hampshire. I also hear rumors that he's going to say to increase the size of the Navy, but that's not official.

That said, good luck, Mr. Kasich.

I guess there won't be enough national polls conducted in the next 2 weeks to push him into the top 10 for the FOX debate ...

He needs to surpass Perry and Santorum, and probably needs an average of 4% in the next poll(s) coming out. Not impossible, but unlikely since the results won't get the full force of any potential announcement bumps.

Very excited for Tuesday! Once Kasich announces, momentum will only grow - he will be on the debate stage next month!

Is that really what you think? There's no room for Kasich in this race. What is his opening?

I don't see why more Republicans don't support Kasich. I think he'd have the best chance of beating Clinton.

And instead of him, Trump will be on the debate stage. Gotta love Republican primary voters.

Compared to most other Republicans who have already announced, he is the second coming of Abraham Lincoln.

Write him off.

There absolutely is. Kasich has more relevant experience than anyone in this field. He can claim partial responsibility for the budget surpluses in the 90's, has enough experience in foreign policy to at least hold his own against Clinton, and has done pretty well as Governor of Ohio, a crucial swing-state.

A lot of folks still aren't too thrilled with the field - Kasich offers a breath of fresh air.

That's a lot of wishful thinking.

I seriously see him getting some momentum once more people know about him. He's the real Scott Walker, in essence.

That may be so, but Huntsman had basically zero self-awareness. No one cared about a "trust deficit." Kasich will market himself better. It may not pay off, mind you, but he's certainly the real deal.

If he can manage to get into the debates, he may be able to gain some traction.

Why would anybody be satisfied by any of the Republican candidates? They're trash on like every issue.

The Republican primary field is like the menu at The Cheesecake Factory: too many choices that try to please everyone and aren't very good for you.

Kasich is a bore and Hillary Clinton deserves more credit than him for the surplus simply whispering in Bill's ear. Kasich is sure bet to lose. He has no charisma. Most importantly, he has no money.

Because he is not mean spirited, anti science and doesn't hate brown people. This is toxic in a Republican primary, look at Huntsman in 2012.
