This. However Rand and the Libertarians would get some things too. Criminal Justice Reform is a long time coming and is something that is cross-partisan in support.

The union stuff, I'd just take away their ability to use union dues to donate to any political causes. They should retain the right to collectively bargain.

Restore Glass-Stegall

Formal Declaration of War against ISIS rather than illegal aggressive invasion tactics.

Breaking News Senator Rand Paul has withdrew his name from the nomination process for Treasury Secretary after key fundemental disagreements with the incoming Cruz administrations stances, notably strengthening of the NSA and full interventionist foreign policies. This is a signal of how extreme  the agenda of President elect Cruz is going.

Who do you think Cruz will replace Rand with?

Rafael Edward Cruz 46th President of the United States: 2021-
Rafael Edward Cruz was sworn in on January 20th 2021 on a cold day outside the capitol building. President Clinton as well as former President's Obama and Bill Clinton as well as most living Vice Presidents refused to attend the inaugural ceremonies due to Cruz and the RNC's suspected role in defeating President Clinton in the Democratic primaries, as well as grave concern of Cruz's extreme right wing agenda that many former office holder view as extremely and gravely dangerous for the future of America.  However former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney are visibly in the audience for the first inaugural ceremony since 2009. Guests in attendance include Ted Nungent, Kid Rock, Meatloaf. And prayer service by Pat Buchanan and Jerry Falwell Jr.

President Cruz and Vice President Cotton are sworn in for a controversial inauguration as insiders believe they purposely manipulated the democratic primaries to oust President Clinton before the general election. More on that later. The inauguration is filled with more protestors than any other inauguration in history.
Inaugural Address
President Cruz's inaugural address is filled with harsh words for his predecessors.
"These past 12 years have been the darkest years in American history, we have learned that socialism, poor diplomacy, an attack on religious freedoms and an embarrassing domestic and international record. Our founding fathers warned us against the tyranny and government overreach that we have seen in our past two administrations, and it will take many more patriotic administrations to undo this damage. The road and process will be long, but America will once again return to greatness"
Economy
Cruz blasts the Keynesian shift that America has undergone in the past decade. Unemployment rate sits at 4.2% but Cruz dismisses these numbers and claims, socialist policies, class warfare and wage increases for workers has killed jobs and that job creators are being too highly taxed. Cruz also has single handily blamed unions to the destruction of the US economy and says they have been the biggest enemy to American greatness and calls for their destruction.
"Our businesses are being too highly regulated and our job creators are being too heavily taxed, this is government oversight we would expect from the Soviet Union, and not the United States. Unions are out of control and have been the biggest enemy to American freedom and this administration will not rest until we can silence their powers

Cruz calls for reform and the phase out of all entitlements and social security, as well as the end of government involvment in healthcare and education. Cruz vows that his administration will repeal every word of the affordable care act and scrap the single payer universal healthcare proposal that was slated to be enacted in a Clinton 2nd term. He also vows to repeal Medicare and Medicaid
"Americans do not want Government in their health care, at all , period."

Finally Cruz ends his inaugural address laying out his radical foreign policy agenda that will permanently change America's foreign policy abroad. Cruz sets a timeline to leave the United Nations, NATO, GATT and the IMF. America will take on a unilateral and sometimes bilateral foreign policy approach. Cruz announces that he will reinstate the Cuba embargo, invade Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria, slash all foreign aid with the exception to Israel and its allies and will withdraw from the G8 and G20. Cruz emphasizes boldly that America will be in charge of its foreign policy and no international organization should be able to dictate us. He blasts weakness in past administrations for a weak stance abroad and vows that America will bow to no one, and that it is our way or the highway.
"Our foreign policy has never been weaker in our history, that is why we will be withdrawing from all international organizations and will begin to dictate our own foreign policy."
"From now on, America will bow to no international organization and will not support its tolerance of gay marriage and attack on Christian values. If other nations want to maintain a working relationship with the United States they will abide by our terms or suffer grave consequences because America will not bow or negotiate with any nation, they must learn the American way.
The Tea Party and constitutional patriots celebrate this inauguration with a renewal of optimism, but President Cruz begins his term with over 60% unfavourable ratings with less than 40% of Americans believing that this 2020 Presidential election was carried out unfairly, and possibly stolen.

Background to 2020

Hillary Clinton and running mate Julian Castro defeat Jeb Bush and Scott Walker 348-190 with 52% of the popular vote after a very weak campaign ran by Bush. Clinton is not viewed as universally a popular candidate, but scored a decisive victory due to a divided GOP and because a majority of Americans believed they were out of touch of their interests. Democrats narrowly won back control of the Senate by winning back seats in Wisconsin, Illinois, Florida, Ohio, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania, and also pick up a substantial number of seats in the House, but once again fail to win it back due to gerrymandering.
President Clinton had a very successful foreign policy. The President continued much of Obama's agenda  going further to restore political and economic relations by Cuba. Former Senator Chris Dodd was successfully confirmed as US Ambassador to Cuba, and the first embassy was created in over 5 decades.
Clinton continued to strengthen the deal with Iran by her predecessor to prevent them creating any nuclear weapons and successfully retuned all political prisoners back to the United States
The second Clinton administration engaged in very positive economic and trade relationships with Canada, the EU, China, South America and the Australasian regions. Relationships with Israel were still strained but Clinton and Netanyahu maintained a distant but productive relationship , possibly stronger than Obama but critics still believed that the United States has not been protecting Israel enough.
Clinton was successful at accomplishing something that Obama was not and that was to begin the process of closing Guantanamo Bay
Domestically Clinton accomplished more in one term than any president in decades. Some of her biggest accomplishments include the bipartisan re instatement of Glass-Stegall.
The Affordable Care Act was reformed and began the discussion of implementing single payer universal healthcare.
Clinton advocated for a national minimum wage increase to $11 an hour and increased worker protections to include universal health and dental coverage, and protection for gay rights
Comprehensive Immigration reform was passed allowing a pathway to citizenship for undocumented residents.
With help and constant lobbying from progressives, Clinton took on the major big banks that caused the 2008 financial crisis by placing  heavily regulations and raised corporate taxes, protected any attempts to weaken unions and cracked down American companies from outsourcing American jobs overseas
Clinton presided over a strong national economy and unemployment rate of 4.2% and was setting sights to invest more money into healthcare, and education to build a more skilled workforce. Historians believe that Clinton had the most productive first two years of any president, but her agenda was once again tightened by the 2018 midterms that cost Democrats seats due to low turnouts led by low voter turnout from Democrats due to satisfaction and high voter turnout from the tea party. Many prominent Tea Party candidates such as Todd Akin, Richard Mourdock, Sharon Angle, Allan West and Rick Santorum were elected to the Senate making Clinton a lame duck, but they were unable to repeal or force Clinton to give up or concede her agenda.

The Republican National Committee was restless and furious. Despite their gains in the 2018 midterms, they feared for the survival of their party in 2020 as they foresaw another loss as Clinton has approval ratings over 50% and many polls foresaw the GOP losing big to Clinton. They had to find something to throw Clinton off guard or risk manipulating the system to allow them to win.

RNC meeting

Priebus- We are ed, doomed. The Benghazi Queen has an approval of 56%, the liberal media is brain washing Americans to believe we have a strong economy, and the Clinton administration is promising more free "goodies" like more benefits, more living minimum wage bs, and we are losing to this evil c**t by double digits

Cruz- I still think I can win

McConnell- You are out of your g mind, there is no way we can beat Clinton

Cotton: No I think I know what he is talking about

Rove: Yes I think I know the best strategy

Priebus: What?

Rove: We will field an unelectable socialist to run against Queen b*tch in the primaries and we encourage our primary voters to register as democrats in the primaries so that we can beat Clinton in the primaries

Cruz: But wouldn't they find it suspicious if an alarming number of republicans start registering as democrats?

Rove: No, we will claim to allow all Americans to vote in all primaries, but we will not count any democratic votes in our primaries, but we will rig the system to allow republicans to decide the Democratic primaries and we will field a bombastic unelectable socialist to beat Clinton and we will oversee the national vote to make sure we win 2020 in a landslide

McConnell : What candidate do you have in mind

Rove: Alan Grayson, that sob will make sure that democrats will never occupy the White House

McConnell: I think our number one political priority over the next couple of years is to guarantee that the democratic party dies and will no longer hold any power in American politics

Cotton exactly

Rove: Ted, I think you are the best candidate to win for our party, we will make sure that we have a very brief primary and make us look unified. I also plan to make Grayson's campaign in the Democratic primary long and divisive

The RNC unanimously agrees and vows to keep this discussion top secret.
