It has never been lower. The two forums could have coexisted, but he just had to commit war crimes. Even if they only hurt him, they really hurt all of us who won't be able to see posts from several wonderful quality posters in this context.

This place us a complete joke now. I was never a wipe out the entire mod team supporter (at max 1/2 of it), but at this point, save Morden and maybe 1 or 2 others and just fire the lot. This is a complete embarassment.

Some people are quick learners. Maybe he's like me and has lots of time on his hands to browse internet political forums. You should try not to patronize new members.

I probably should not be doing this, but I kind of wonder what the poll would look like, if everyone could vote afresh now. Some of the voting I think may have done before everyone had a full deck, and it appears the poll does not allow one to change their vote. And of course, there are votes probably by some who no longer post here, or very rarely, and then mostly about Forum policies, but remain interested in the Forum's doings. Just saying.

I admit that I am a total sycophant (as if it were not otherwise totally obvious). I find it an honor to do what I can to help Dave, and his Forum. Cheers.

I don't like some of the bans he put through, such as banning Adam Griffin, and the fact he permabanned BK.

Pretty sure that would be Nym and the mod team, not Dave. The problem with Dave is lack of action, which he's been working to rectify over the last few days.

BK hasn't been permabanned.  None of the bans are permanent yet.

No.  99% (maybe slight exaggeration) of bans in the past four years have been made by Nym.  Dave could always overrule him if he wanted to, but he goes through sufficiently long periods of inactivity, that he probably isn't aware of most of them.

Nym instituted the bans in this "modleaks" case as well, but this is a rare circumstance in which Dave is paying close enough attention that he'll probably be the one to decide if any sentences get shortened.
