You know, we can say it once, twice, a million times, that all of this is being carefully considered, the facts are still being gathered on some issues, and the Mods are focused on that, and that all of the Mods want this to be Dave's decision about the punishments, because these incidents are so personal to him and his site, and that he is evaluating it all, but is distracted by other issues, and not everything has been sewed up yet, and his decision I don't think will be based much on what is posted here, but that has as much impact as a fart in a windstorm. (This long winded sentence is going to drive Al crazy )

One thing I will say. I have been impressed by Dave's analytical abilities, and to understand the issues, and for that matter the legal and ethical aspects of this, so I am confident his decision will not be made lightly, and it will be made by a very capable and fair person. I further know that he cares very much about this Forum and about all of you, and is deeply concerned by all that has gone on.

I won't lie. I like Griffin a lot and he's been a great contributor over the course of many years. I'd like this decision being reversed and I hope there's enough mitigating circumstances to allow this.

Just in case some have missed it, Dave has made a decision about AG and BK, and it's available here. AG will return to us soon, if he so wishes, and BK if and when he wants, and is ready, a bit later. I honestly think Dave wants to get past all of this, and heal the wounds, as Lincoln said, with malice towards none. If I might add, this particular sycophant, thinks Dave has shown superb judgment throughout this ordeal. He's calm, he's analytical, he's not vengeful, wants to do the right thing, and has a deep concern and loyalty to this forum, and to you all.

And he cares what you think. Yes, he's absent for long periods, but he's back now, at least for a period, and I know appreciates, and indeed reacts to, what you say, and asks sometimes in the Cave, hey guys, what about this?, based on your feedback. So keep the feedback coming. As is obvious, what is helpful, is constructive and thoughtful feedback. Lash outs don't move the ball much.
