I doubt Obama will throw her under the bus here.

EDIT: Also, the New York Times is trash. Everyone piece of information is attributed to unnamed "State Department Officials." I could have written this exact same article with no sources. Throw it in the fire.

Good for Hilldog that everyone is at the beach right now to get baked in the sun and nobody gives a damn about the 2016 election.

But Obama and the Justice Dept. should definitely look into the case and not treat her as something "special". Hillary ain't special. Otherwise Obama and the Justice Dept. would be guilty of abuse of power.

Last time I checked, the President doesn't have much impact on the justice department, other than picking the Attorney General, of course.

This whole article has been debunked. There's no criminal investigation and no investigation into Hillary Clinton. Rather it was a referral questioning the State Departments review process for identifying FOIA classified emails.

What there should be is an investigation into which GOP House mole leaked false information to the NYT and why the NYT were so quick yet again to print specious junk about the Clintons.

I can only hope they reach a conclusion soon enough that other candidates could jump in in the worst case scenario.  I really don't want to have a situation where our only candidates are Bernie Sanders, Jim Webb, Martin O'Malley, and Lincoln Chafee.

Nevermind.  Apparently its all BS.

So basically this is another intramural fight between the CIA and the State Dept. (over what should and should not be considered classified) and really nothing to do with Clinton, except that some Hill staffer leaked it to the NYT and tied it to her.

The NYT have done some real damage to their reputation during the last months.

I'm not sure what's a bigger story here, what the NY Times reported, or that the NY Times reported this.

Also think of the timing. Today Hillary made a big speech about her economic policy and someone decided to leak this to the NYT hours before, ensuring this became the story.  I was watching CNN and instead of talking about Hillary's speech Wolf was asking if there is a chance another Dem will get in the race because of Hillary's problems.   I wouldn't be surprised if someone on Bush's staff coordinated with GOP staff on the Hill to nail the timing just right.

For the record, I didn't know the article was bull, I was just commenting on the style. But seriously, they do this all the time. It's ridiculous.
