Mr. President, the premise of this bill is simple: it's to prevent prolonged gridlocks when the office of Game Moderator is vacant and I believe no one's better equipped to fill the gap than Secretaries of Internal and External Affairs. The SoIA has been already called by many "Deputy GM" and this model should be continues, while the same role would be best served by the SoEA on foreign front.

Recently, we've experiences a series of such prolonged vacancies and, given the GM is one of this game's main engines, this must be fixed.

I like this bill. We shouldn't have the GM's office fall silent when we switch over if we can help it. It also helps make these other posts more important.

Yea, I support this.

I was a little concerned about the presence of the SoEA as a successor to the GM, but I think such would be a rare and temporary occurance and therefore shouldn't cause too much problem during the course of such a vacancy.

Happy to support this as well, the game engine really shouldn't stop working even if there is a vacancy in the Game Moderator office, and if we go by recent SoIA and SoEA I'm confident most of them would have done a great job handling that aspect.

Do we have any objections to moving to a final vote?

There is need for further discussion? Or we can move to a final vote?

Unless Kal has anymore concerns, I would be fine with moving to a final vote.

These are the Senate rules.

A final vote is now open.

The final vote will last for 72 hours (3 days). If the legislation will have enough votes to pass/fail, I'll announce that I'll close the vote in 24 hours (time for Senators that have not voted to cast their votes or time for Senators that have voted to change their votes).
