I think people will see the simple majority vote as what it is, basically a vote on holding a concon now, and not as a technical change for one in the future, so I think it is safe to proceed.

I do think it should be two thirds of the Senate. I mean, I think we'd have at least seven votes for the ConCon at the moment.

1. A Senator manifest his intention to call a ConCon in the Legislation Introduction Thread
2. The majority of the sitting Senators (now it's 6, only 1 fewer than 7) shall second his intention
3. Then the Speaker open a new thread in the Fantasy Government board
4. The Senate works on a bill with the rules, regulations of a ConCon. The process is the same of a normal bill (amendments, objections, ecc...)

I believe there's enough desire within the senate for a ConCon to reach the 2/3 majority, so I'm all for this amendment.
