One of the best bands of the last 30 years. Its really sad that Cobain killed himself at such an early age, imagine what it would be today...

At least we have the Foo Fighters.

I've loved Nirvana ever since I first started listening to music at a very young age. My favourite song when I was young (as in younger than 10 and born in 87) was Come As You Are.

As horrible as the end of Nirvana was, in a way there was sort of a phoenix rising from the ashes. I will always love Nirvana, but the Foo Fighters are my all-time favourite band.

I thought the first two Foo Fighters records were pretty good and the third one was tolerable. Everything after that can be thrown in the trash.

My favorite Dave Grohl penned song is still "Marigold" - the B-side to "Heart-Shaped Box".

Not really into them. But they aren't terrible, just not my thing.

In my opinion Nirvana was a unique band that could perform well as group and a lot of different people identified with their music. For me their live albums are below average, however their studio music is much better than a lot of newer acts today.

They took the fun out of rock, and are responsible for Nickelback, Shinedown, Creed and every other abomination of music.

I like them. 90s grunge and alternative might be the only non-scene music I like though most scene people like it too so it's not exactly out of character.

Definite Freedom Band, I turn 27 in December which terrifies me thinking about how close I've gotten to outliving Kurt Cobain.

Not my cup of tea, though that isn't their fault.

Great band who has influenced a lot of current acts today. Negative Creep is my favorite song of theirs.

I prefer Britpop to Grunge. (Although both movements would become grotesque parodies of themselves by the end of the decade)

Generally agree, but Wasting Light was great.
