Christie and Kasich. There's a small possibility for Perry, but not likely.

Christie and Kasich. First time I haven't voted for Fiorina. At this point, I just don't see the RNC or Fox being able to pull off a scenario where she is in the top ten.

Christie and Kasich will get it even though Perry deserves it more.

Christie and Kasich will get it even though Perry deserves it more.

Maybe over the keynote speaker and New Jersey Governor.

But the man who has Gingrich's intelligence, Clinton's experience, balanced the budget with a Democrat, and Ohio Governor? 64% in Ohio is far more impressive than Perry's record.

Perry > Christie, but it will probably be Christie and Kasich, which is unfortunate.

Christie and Kasich.  Bad news for Bush, since they're all competing for the same wing of the party.

Kasich and Perry, but with Christie only below Perry by less than 0.5%.

Voted Christie and Kasich, but I think Perry ties for tenth place and is allowed in.

Kasich seems certain to make it if his bounce holds. So the fight for the last spot has moved to Perry v Christie.  My heart wants Perry but my head says its going to be Christie. All 3 is possible, especially if FOX rounds to a whole number

Kasich and Perry...and they really can't get away with keeping Fiorina or Jindal out as long as she's in the race if they want to be an inclusive party, can they?

I believe Fox has said at some point that they will only let in an 11th person if 10 and 11 are an exact tie, and would try their best to determine if there is someone on top. For instance, they would let only Perry in if he was at 2.8 and Christie was at 2.7.

We can only be sure that Quinnipiac and CNN will be used, as supposedly Monmouth, NBC/WSJ, and Fox will be the other 3 polls to be used once they come in. If Fox doesn't update, then the current ABC/WashPost poll would take it's place (which Fox probably wouldn't want). If we add up Quinn and CNN, the raw total points for Christie is 7, and 5 for Perry. If Perry leads Christie by an average of 1 point in the next three polls to come out, he will take the 10th spot and kick Christie to the Forum.

Perry led Christie in the last NBC/WSJ poll by 1, and tied him in Monmouth. He was behind Christie by 2 in Fox, but there appears to be an overall downward trend in Christie polling lately. Things get easier for Perry to overtake Christie if Fox doesn't update, as he leads Christie by 1 in the ABC poll. Perry isn't necessarily favored for the 10th spot, but he definitely has closer to even odds than it appears.

Looks like Christie and Kasich from the guys on the bubble.

They're polling better, and I think Fox News would prefer them to Perry, so if there's any way to pick those guys over him, they'll put their finger on the scale.

Kasich and Christie. Using RCP, let's take a look at polling trends. The first number after the average is the most recent poll. The last number was seven polls ago.

9. John Kasich: 3.2-----5, 4, 2, 3, 2, 1, 1
9. Chris Christie: 3.2-----3, 4, 3, 3, 3, 3, 2
11. Rick Perry: 2.2-------2, 3, 4, 1, 1, 1, 2
12. Bobby Jindal: 1.4----2, 2, 2, 1, 0, 1, 2
12. Carly Fiorina: 1.4----1, 1, 0, 4, 1, 1, 1
12. Rick Santorum: 1.4--1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1, 2

Not only do Kasich and Christie have the healthier averages, but Kasich is trending best by far while Christie is by far the most consistent at 3+.

Kasich and Christie most likely, though Perry, Jindal, Fiorina, and Santorum still have an outside chance.

Christie, Kasich, and Perry have launched a last minute media blitz to get one of those remaining debate slots:

I really hope Christie and Kasich get the last two slots.

Perry had his chance in 2012.

Perry takes credit for stuff W did, Perry is kinda boring, and I forgot my third critique of him.

Perry clearly praying to be third part of someone else's thoughts so he doesn't have to face Trump. Too bad, we won't get the good tv we wanted. The Donald would have torn Perry to shreds.
