Very hit-or-miss this guy's filmography.

And firstly, I'm not counting his work at Disney in the 60's/'70's, this means only the feature length films of his own.

His works include:

1. The Secret of NIMH (1982)
2. An American Tail (1986)
3. The Land Before Time (1988)
4. All Dogs Go To Heaven (1989)
5. Rock-A-Doodle (1991)
6. Thumbelina (1994)
7. A Troll in Central Park (1994)
8. The Pebble and the Penguin (1995)
9. Anastasia (1997)
10. Bartok the Magnificent (1999)
11. Titan A.E. (2000)

So? With the hit-and-miss, does the good stuff still outweigh the bad? Have at it!

The Land Before Time was the first movie I saw in theaters.

The good: that (but NOT THE sequels), Secret of NIMH, An American Tail, All Dogs Go To Heaven and Anastasia.

Massive Freedom Films.  He's such a genius, I wish he still was making traditional animation and saving us from the crappy kiddie computer garbage we see now.

I want to say freedom films, but TBH the number of bad films on there outweigh the good.

Yes but I'd say the greatness of the few great films outweigh the shortcomings of the others.

American Tail is such a classic.

Massive FFs. It's a bit weird that he has started off his career with widely acclaimed masterpieces like The Secret of NIMH and An American Tail, and then went on to make more low-key movies. But even them most of them have at least something interesting in them. I actually really like Anastasia.

Ironically, is how all his masterpieces got crappy DTV sequels [alright alright the immediate An American Tail sequel was adequate].

Anyway, I voted FF quite obviously just for his original four.

Oh yeah, The Secret of NIMH 2 was hilariously awful.
