Self-explanatory: just select any names that you wouldn't have a problem with.

And please discuss in the comments what you like/don't like, or defend/attack specific proposals, maybe shedding light on a reason why a name is cool/crap the rest of us didn't notice.

What I like and why:

Sudamerica: people know what it means, and it's in a local language. It's like "South America" but it sounds cooler.

Amerigo: sounds cool, and it has a nice historical origin.

Allpanchik: it also sounds nice, and it's also in an actual non-colonial regional language.

What I don't like and why:

South America: oh...I'm falling...asleep...*snoring noises*...(my point: it's a boring name. I guess if everyone else is okay with that, it's okay, but it's still too boring.)

Patagonia and Gran Colombia: not geographically accurate.

Thanks for offering your opinion! I think that gives more weight than mere numbers in the poll.

I just proposed an amendment on the Provisional Parliament floor for Sudamerica.

I voted for Sudamerica because it provides a bit of a link to the actual place on which we are basing ourselves. Besides that it simply soubds better than the uninspiring South America.

South America, everything else sounds cringeworthy as fuck

South America. It's not the most exciting name but most of the other names are either inaccurate or sound like soft drinks (Sudamerica).

As the poll seems to indicate, no ideas are really pulling ahead, so it confirms my hypothesis that we needed to put this to a vote. (Democracy 1-0 Non Democracy)
