Man, Trump's lawyer is an idiot.

The story would likely have gone away if he hadn't said the provably false and disgusting stuff about marital rape not being rape.

The ex wife is now saying nice things about Donald, and basically saying back then was a tense time, suggests that maybe then she was a bit hyperbolic, and that anyway, things are fine now. I think that defangs this story pretty much. I don't see the defamation potential, because the story is just quotes from her, and he's a public person.

It took a week or two to take down Herman Cain after similar stories came out.

He would certainly be incredible, as in unlikely to become President and completely without credibility if elected.

The lawyer has apologized for the spousal rape comments:

It looks like the rest of the GOP wolfpack will need to use truth and logic to take Trump down.

Notice that Trump hasn't lied about any of his competition.  There are no Bob Doles yelling to the George Bushes "Stop lying about my record!".

On this, we actually agree.

So, let's take a look at some of Trump's attacks on his opponents:

1. He claims Marco Rubio is "over rated" and attacks him for having taken a water break during a speech. Marco Rubio used a Florida GOP credit card for personal expenses. But Trump would rather talk about Rubio being thirsty.

2. He claims Rick Perry was weak on the border. The border between the U.S. and Mexico is a federal responsibility, Rick Perry was a Governor.

3. He claims Jeb Bush is weak on immigration on common core. He says he has no energy. On immigration, Bush is the only adult in the room. He has a position that recognizes the rule of law, our fiscal situation, and the incredible contribution legal immigrants have made to this country and continue to make on a regular basis. On Common Core, an area where I personally disagree with Governor Bush, he has said over and over again standards are state driven. He's running for President, not Governor. As for the no energy thing, he'd rather attack people personally than on issues because no one is worse than Trump on the issues, not even Bernie Sanders.

4. He claims that Scott Walker has had financial problems in Wisconsin. True, but things were worse when Walker took over. Trump has been in bankruptcy 4 times, he has no credibility on fiscal responsibility.

5. He gave out Lindsey Graham's cell phone number. Lame, just lame.

Torie😉 don't be sighing with relief yet. I believe what Ivana said in the beginning, she was bullied and pressured into retracting her original statement by the blow-hards lawyer. Problem with Trump, he doesn't like anyone challenging him. I go with the theory that there's "no smoke without fire" this latest revelation has legs. Trump will lie and bully his way into anything. The guy is a low-life bum, plain and simple.

Trump's lawyer is a moron for not just telling people to listen to her.

I suppose I'll turn it over to the greater public to render a verdict on the Bush Family and the Establishment GOP who backed them up when they needed backup.

Trump hasn't been in politics; he's been in business, and he's done things in business few people have done.  He hasn't been indicted for insider trading, and he hasn't been indicted for illegal business activities.  Yet people talk about him as if he has been.  George Bush and George W. Bush started wars against countries that never attacked us and posed no threat to us, yet they're "the adults".  (If they're the "adults", then maturity is overrated.)

It's funny, though:  I've seen a bunch of GOP types lamenting that the country needs "a businessman who understands business" to run for President.  Then, when one comes along, the GOP gangs up on him and treat him as if he has the cooties.  And he's actually uttering sentiments their candidates have uttered for some time; I guess there's something wrong when our businessman says it.

So let's bring on the logic and reason.  That's the REAL way to expose the failed Bushes for what each and all of them are.

So let's bring on the logic and reason.  That's the REAL way to expose the failed Bushes for what each and all of them are.

The American people supported going into Kuwait before, during, and after we did. Very few people believe that we were wrong to enter Kuwait. We drove Saddam Hussein out, the only mistake was we should have used the opportunity to topple his brutal regime.

No American President was dealt the hand George W. Bush was, with the arguable exceptions of FDR and Lincoln. President Bush made some strategic errors, but overall, he made the right decisions. It is a fact that Saddam Hussein had kicked weapons inspectors out of Iraq, it is a fact he defied the international community, it is a fact he hated the U.S., it is a fact that he had the capacity to build WMDs, it is a fact he oppressed and murdered millions, and there is evidence to suggest he sent WMDs to Syria just before the U.S. entered. Given those facts alone, before we even get into a debate about the intelligence the President was given, the President made the right decision.

You are right, Donald Trump hasn't been in politics. It's funny though, he has changed positions on issues more than politicians, and he has taken positions to the left of even the most liberal Democrats in Washington.

Saying that Donald Trump is a good businessman because he never was convicted of insider trading has got to be the funniest thing I've heard in a while. The man is successful thanks to crony capitalism. Successful people in business like Jack Welch, Tim Cook, Kevin O'Leary, or Carly Fiorina didn't get to where they are today through government handouts, they did so because they are smart.

Donald Trump is not the successful business person the majority of Republicans want. Trump has no experience governing, and he's not a true capitalist - he's a crony capitalist. Additionally, Republicans don't want to nominate someone with Trump's hatred of the free market. Carly Fiorina has no executive experience, but Republicans should look at her in my judgement because she was successful in business without inheriting millions or through corporate welfare. She is for the free market, unlike Trump.

Also, if you believe it's only the GOP establishment that dislike Donald Trump, you are mistaken. The Club For Growth and CATO Institute are anti-Trump, they are hardly part of the "establishment."

Bush supporters using the term "crony capitalist" is hilarious. George W. made $15 million off a taxpayer funded stadium. Neil Bush was involved in the Savings and Loan scandal, costing taxpayers dearly, and more recently got paid millions for attending board meetings despite no skills of note. The Bushes are the true crony capitalists.

There is only one Bush running for President this time, and it's Jeb Bush, not George W. Bush or Neil Bush.

Also, Trump's crony capitalism was a heck of a lot more than $15 million.

From the moment you first heard this story, the person you immediately wanted to hear comment on it was Herman Cain, right?

Cain says he's not endorsing any candidate at this point, but does say:

There are definitely a number of Republicans who haven't endorsed Trump, but don't mind him. Cruz, Guiliani, Limbaugh, Brewer, and so on.

A good read:

You're obviously a socialist, I am a conservative who believes in capitalism. It's okay that we disagree, only it would be nice if you would actually back your comments up with facts.

I'm confused!

I thought the evil illegal immigrants coming to take our jobs and ruin True Americans(TM) were rapists! Not American Hero Trump!
