One ex-wife attacking Trump wont hurt him. But what if this is the first of a series? That is what happened with Cain. There are probably more ex gfs willing to talk. And I would bet the farm that at some point in his life Trump has settled a sexual harassment claim.  I'm sure some of the other candidate's oppo researchers are looking into it.

Yeah, I could easily see a Marianne Gingrich situation.

Newt never abandoned his kids emotionally the way Trump did. He was absent from his younger daughters life, though on second thought that probably is a good thing for her.

Trump is a disgusting human being, period.

To be absolutely honest, I'd rather a gazillion times have Trump as my father than Gingrich!! Just think about it for half a second.

I have

I'd rather have Donald Trump as my Dad than Newt Gingrich, and it isn't close.

Of course, if I had George Herbert Walker Bush as a Dad, I could be subsidized in business so I could fake people out and appear to be a successful capitalist when, in fact, I was subsidized just long enough for the government bailout.  (That's the Bush 43 story.)  I'd get to have the image of a gentleman and the ethics  of a snake, and the power to conceal that dichotomy from the world.

I am sure that Trump knows every bit of dirt that will come up about him, and has calculated his reaction to all of it.

Trump's a real businessman.  Controversial, true, but he didn't just get into business so that he could say he "did something" before entering politics (the REAL family business).

It looks like the rest of the GOP wolfpack will need to use truth and logic to take Trump down.

Notice that Trump hasn't lied about any of his competition.  There are no Bob Doles yelling to the George Bushes "Stop lying about my record!".

On this, we actually agree.

So, let's take a look at some of Trump's attacks on his opponents:

1. He claims Marco Rubio is "over rated" and attacks him for having taken a water break during a speech. Marco Rubio used a Florida GOP credit card for personal expenses. But Trump would rather talk about Rubio being thirsty.

2. He claims Rick Perry was weak on the border. The border between the U.S. and Mexico is a federal responsibility, Rick Perry was a Governor.

3. He claims Jeb Bush is weak on immigration on common core. He says he has no energy. On immigration, Bush is the only adult in the room. He has a position that recognizes the rule of law, our fiscal situation, and the incredible contribution legal immigrants have made to this country and continue to make on a regular basis. On Common Core, an area where I personally disagree with Governor Bush, he has said over and over again standards are state driven. He's running for President, not Governor. As for the no energy thing, he'd rather attack people personally than on issues because no one is worse than Trump on the issues, not even Bernie Sanders.

4. He claims that Scott Walker has had financial problems in Wisconsin. True, but things were worse when Walker took over. Trump has been in bankruptcy 4 times, he has no credibility on fiscal responsibility.

5. He gave out Lindsey Graham's cell phone number. Lame, just lame.

I suppose I'll turn it over to the greater public to render a verdict on the Bush Family and the Establishment GOP who backed them up when they needed backup.

Trump hasn't been in politics; he's been in business, and he's done things in business few people have done.  He hasn't been indicted for insider trading, and he hasn't been indicted for illegal business activities.  Yet people talk about him as if he has been.  George Bush and George W. Bush started wars against countries that never attacked us and posed no threat to us, yet they're "the adults".  (If they're the "adults", then maturity is overrated.)

It's funny, though:  I've seen a bunch of GOP types lamenting that the country needs "a businessman who understands business" to run for President.  Then, when one comes along, the GOP gangs up on him and treat him as if he has the cooties.  And he's actually uttering sentiments their candidates have uttered for some time; I guess there's something wrong when our businessman says it.

So let's bring on the logic and reason.  That's the REAL way to expose the failed Bushes for what each and all of them are.

Bush supporters using the term "crony capitalist" is hilarious. George W. made $15 million off a taxpayer funded stadium. Neil Bush was involved in the Savings and Loan scandal, costing taxpayers dearly, and more recently got paid millions for attending board meetings despite no skills of note. The Bushes are the true crony capitalists.

There is only one Bush running for President this time, and it's Jeb Bush, not George W. Bush or Neil Bush.

Also, Trump's crony capitalism was a heck of a lot more than $15 million.

It's still one Bush too many.
