Try to figure out the significance of this map.

The colors mean something, though aren't related to party affiliation.

Should be pretty easy.
Took me a second, Gubernatorial Map Blue: (2009, 2013) Yellow: (2011, 2015) Green: (2010, 2014) Red: (2008, 2012) Gray: (Every 2 Years 2010, 2012, 2014)
