Thank You Mr Speaker and my friends in the Senate for taking this bill up,

 The current constitution does not rule on fireworks. Which means that it is up to the regions and only one region has laws on fireworks which is the Northeast Region. If my law goes into passed and signed by our president, it would number one allow citizens to use fireworks for their own personal use and create tax money for both the regions and the federal government. My region, The South, Midwest and Mideast all have no laws that talk about fireworks. Fireworks are not arms beacuse the definition of arms by The Webster Dictionary is "weapons, especially firearms" fireworks aren't considered firearms by any standards. If the senate passes this bill it will create more revenue for all governments local, regionally and federal create more jobs in every region beacuse it allows businesses to form and builds factories here in Atlasia, and allows your citizens that you represent to have fun.

The Blue Law Repeal Act of 2012 allowed the use of fireworks.

The Anti-Prohibition & Blue Law Repeal Act

A BILL to repeal and prohibit Northeastern laws that are found to be religiously motivated or otherwise unnecessary

1.) All existing laws which prohibit the consumption or sale of beer, wine, and spirits at neighborhood grocery and package stores on any day of the week are hereby repealed.

2.) All existing laws which prohibit gambling on any day of the week are hereby repealed.

3.) Town records may hereby be kept where liquor is sold.

4.) It is hereby legal to dispose of used razor blades.

5.) All legal firearms may be discharged in public highways, provided that they do not result in the harm of innocent citizens.

6.) Brothels are hereby legal in the Northeast.

7.) The sale of fireworks is hereby permitted to all Northeast residents above the age of seventeen.

8.) Hunting licenses and fishing licenses are no longer necessary to hunt or fish on one's own private property.

9.) On no day of any week are hunting or fishing prohibited activities.

10.) Players of professional sports shall not have to obtain a license to play on Sundays.

11.) "R"-rated movies are hereby allowed to be shown in drive-in theaters.

12.) The Northeast government may not prohibit activities on a given day of the week for religious reasons.

On the topic. No, I won't support this Bill at all. Access to fireworks should be tightly controlled and regulated.

I'm sure people like to make things go boom, but they're dangerous and should be handled with care and training, not the least of which the well-known impact on domestic animals.

Long story short, none of these amendments satisfy my deep concerns about the consequences of such a reckless Bill. I cannot fathom any that will meet all party's concerns.

Again, I'm not going to facilitate anything that enables inexperienced and untrained individuals to have unfettered access to dangerous explosive devices just 'cause people like making things go boom.

     Fireworks is a very broad category. I'm already thinking about other possible amendments; one possibility would be licensure for people to handle more dangerous varieties. The point of this amendment is simply to restrict people who really can't be trusted to safely handle fireworks of any type from doing so.

Very good point. Fireworks aren't just an innocent toys that makes a "boom" effect. Fireworks are dangerous explosives.

I don't like the original idea, to be honest. But Senator PiT's amendment is an improvement.
