I've used the obvious debate around here as the first round, but it is a good question.

We often value the big cities for everything related to a state or nation the most, especially here on Atlas where most people are city-folk.

But do those cities really deserve to overshadow the rest of the State they are in? Or is there so much more the rest of the State has that one city simply cannot cover? These are the questions I seek to find out the opinion on.

Case in point: the divide between New York City (and I guess Long Island too) and the Upstate, which is probably the most well-known divide.

So which one will it be? The Big Apple or the side with Niagara Falls, the Finger Lakes, the College towns like Ithaca, the Catskill Mountains, and the Hudson River Valley?

Fire away!
