Surprised there hasn't been a thread yet...

Rep. Chakah Fattah (PA-2) has been indicted for racketeering, conspiracy, bribery, tax evasion, and other things as the result of an investigation that started in 2013. If convicted, he could face decades in prison.

Does Fattah go down? And who are potential replacements for him if/when he leaves office?

I very much doubt this. Nutter is one of the most unpopular mayors in America. He can't win a head to head primary. The vote will have to become incredibly diluted or he'd have to face just Milton Street again. Abraham is sadly too old probably and coming off an extremely horrendous result. I'll have to give some thought about who might run later, but hopefully anyone.

Of course, Fattah may very well just win anyway. Fattah vs. Nutter would be quite the election.

I'm a fan of Butkovitz, but I'm frankly not sure where his residence is - not that that has stopped people before (Arizona 2014 most recently). I highly, highly doubt he is in CD2, and he may be a Longshot there anyway

This was a long time coming. Fattah had always been corrupt; him and his son. 

I'm also going to bet that that the next congressman is going to be of Chinese descent, given they're rapidly increasing demographic in the district.

I'm surprised that PA doesn't have a Rep of Purto Rican descent since they are a rather large group in the Philidephia area.

Yes, they've been rapidly increasing demographically in the district for some reason. It's a similar oddity to why New Jersey has so many Koreans.
