No.  99% (maybe slight exaggeration) of bans in the past four years have been made by Nym.  Dave could always overrule him if he wanted to, but he goes through sufficiently long periods of inactivity, that he probably isn't aware of most of them.

Nym instituted the bans in this "modleaks" case as well, but this is a rare circumstance in which Dave is paying close enough attention that he'll probably be the one to decide if any sentences get shortened.

Do you have the power to ban people?

It looks like I do now, but I haven't actually tried to use it.  I never asked Dave for ban power, and am not interested in using it, except in cases of obvious hit-and-run spammers and the like.

If it wasn't for Dave Leip, the world would not have his invaluable election data in such a clear format.

I have noting but respect and high approval for Mr. Leip.

I have not seen this kind of reversal since two races in 2010. The NH GOP Senate primary and the PA General Election. Starts off in landslide one way, ends in a narrow margin the other direction.

Leip's reelection is secured.  I will now accept my accolades.

It now looks rather similar to the MA 2010 special.

Doesn't really work, since Dave would be the incumbent rather than the insurgent candidate. Missouri 2012?

Approval, though I do take issue with some of the actions he took in the past few weeks.

What action?
I don't like some of the bans he put through, such as banning Adam Griffin, and the fact he permabanned BK.

BK was temp banned for 2 months.

Remember, Churchill lost in 1945 with an 83% approval rating. Wink

I think the most important question here is "Who would Dave Leip vote for in this poll?"
