At this point, its safe to say that the McCain comments were at most a speed bump for the Trump campaign.

Rubio has consistently polled at around 5-6% recently, yet the media continues to portray him as the top tier with Bush/Walker/Trump.

The media wants to portray him as the Republican Obama, but he lacks the gravitas, intelligence, and charisma of the former.

More proof of Kaishmentum for sure, but that number for Paul is horrible. It would be his worst national poll number ever.

Good news for him, I don't think this poll will be included by Fox as it isn't live phone. That being said, if you listened to Fox commentators during 2012, Rasmussen was the only outfit that knew how to poll, including their own poll.

RE: Rubio
Between his entry into the race in early April through to about a month ago Rubio was polling in 2nd or 3rd place and he did have good fundraising numbers. And of course he was once on the cover of Time as the savor of the party. So there is some built in inertia to recognizing his current position. But apparently some in the media and donor class are noticing...

Will this be included in the debate average, or has even Fox realized that Rasmussen is one of the few polling firms that uses a dart board as part of his methodology?

I'm pretty sure Ras isn't a live phone poll, so it probably won't be used.

In that categorization, he belongs on the evangelical line.
