I don't want to do these anymore, every time I do things end up worse than expected.

Can I ask a stupid question?  Under the fixed term legislation passed in the UK, is there any set of conceivable circumstances in which the next election there takes place earlier than May 2020?

Yes, if two-thirds of MPs back an early election. Given that Labour has more than a third of MPs and the Tories would likely only do this if a big victory looked likely...

I've wondered over the last couple of days if they'd repeal the legislation, and call a 2017/2018 election if the referendum goes well just to slap labour again

Two elections to go between now and July 2020.  Hard to see him lasting that long.

UK - Theresa  May (it won't be Johnson, and he will probably sulk KRudd style.

USA - Clinton, in a tough race against  ... Sandoval?

Italy - Renzi, but he may be in the process of being drafted for eu leadership.

Australia- an unpopular Bill Shorten

Greece - predicting Greek politics at the moment is of course laughable, but I'll go with Dora whatsherface, in some successor party to a collapsed ND.

Ireland - Leo varadkar, in an FG minority (Indy support)

Canada - Tom Mulcair

Germany - hannelore kraft in a Linke backed coalition.

Oh France, err, Juppe? I don't think it will be Sarko, I respect the French people too much to say they'll vote for that idiot again.

Won´t be very original

UK - Theresa May
USA - Hillary Clinton
Canada - Thomas Mulcair
France - Nicolas Sarkozy
Germany - Angela Merkel
Australia - Bill Shorten
Italy - Matteo Renzi
Greece - Gen. Michail Kostarakos (at the head of the Helenic National Salvation Council)

I briefly thought of an all-female list, though Smiley

I don't understand why so many people are picking a different Tory leader in the UK.

Why not? For starters Cameron has stated he doesn't want a third term.

So how is the Tory transition going to work?  Cameron steps down in 2019 or something, to make room for his successor to take over before the next election?

He could actually be PM right up until election day having handed over the leadership, say, a month before. Though that would have been more likely (and easier) in the MPs-only ballot days.
