As you know, the 2000 Presidential election was decided when George W Bush was awarded the electoral votes of the state of Florida.

In your view, who actually received more votes in Florida, George W Bush or Al Gore?

Please vote and discuss.

Probably W., but it might have been a whole different story without the beautiful butterfly ballots - these Jews in Palm Beach definitely didn't intend to vote for Pat Buchanan...

Bush but the the Supreme Court should never have decided how to resolve the disputed election in Florida , Congress should have like they did in 1876

The problem is that the Supreme Court handled the case in literally the worse way possible. The fact that they said that this case should be swept under the rug, and never used again sends major alarm bells, nevermind the rank hypocrisy of people like Scalia and Thomas

Bush. Even with a recount he would have won.
