The media's desperation is getting quite old. And are people really still talking about "white horse candidates"? It's August. That's about as useful as talking about brokered conventions and electoral college ties.

This is not just media story-creating, this is actual Hillary Aides having actual worries.

Dowd says Biden is talking to his family, friends and donors about jumping in.

I find it quite amusing how half the article which is supposed to be about Joe Biden is spent talking about how much the author hates Hillary Clinton. Unsurprising coming from Dowd though, the NY Times' #1 anti-Hillary hit piece writer.

It's simply too late for Biden to run a viable campaign. Hillary has already locked down the donors and Sanders has locked down the activist enthusiasm. If he runs, he'd just get embarrassed again, finishing behind not only Hillary but also an elderly socialist.

I imagine at least a few big Hillary donors would switch over to Biden if he were to enter the race.
