If you were a moderator for the first Fox debate, what questions would you ask to what candidate?

To get you started, here are the first two questions from the FOX debate in early August 2011.

Mr. Huckabee, do you still believe that HIV/AIDS patients should be isolated from society?

All of you at some time or another have stated that you wish to see the Affordable Care Act either dramatically altered or completely repealed. What alternative health plan would you offer and do you believe you could get this plan through Congress?

I'm a strict libertarian constitutional conservative moderate Republican.

Honestly I don't know what I would ask them. I know which talking points they would give in response.

Maybe I would ask them to explain why they think pot should be illegal and alcohol shouldn't. It's a minor issue but one where I can't see any logical case being made for the conservative side.

Mr Trump, how can you hope to stay in this race when Atlas user "dudeabides" is so resoundingly delivering many sick burns on your candidacy?

Trump: "Dudeabides is a loser. He had his chance in 2012. I know how to negotiate. Last week I renewed Celebrity Apprentice for three more seasons..."

I would probably ask a foreign policy question, but would first have to do some more research on some of the candidates to see what they've already revealed.  For example, have all of them commented on whether they favor (at least in principle) a 2-state solution for Israel/Palestine?  And what about the Jacksonian/Wilsonian split among GOP hawks (which I talk about here)?  Do we know where all of them are on that?

To all the candidates (save Trump): if Mr. Trump is successful in gaining the nomination, would you support and campaign for him in the general election?

Mr. Trump: Earlier this year, you called opponent John Ellis Bush a, quote, "wonderful man." Later, you have said you don't think, quote, "he's a happy man." Could you clarify your opinion on Mr. Bush?

Mr. Bush, you were criticized recently in the past few months for appearing 'rusty' on the campaign trail after being out of office since 2007...Do you truly believe you are still in touch with the issues facing our Party and our country?

Mr. Huckabee, do you still stand by your comments on the Iran deal being like "leading the Israelis to the ovens"? If so, would you care to say that to Mr. Bernie Sander's face? We have him on standby.

#BernieSoNazi that he supports leading himself to the ovens in order to make Iran happy.

Regardless of the fact that the National Review was wrong for calling Sanders a Nazi, Huckabee's statements stand true, I believe.

Some of these questions are probably crap, but I think these would be interesting:

"Mr. Trump, you're a very wealthy person. How can you relate to the everyday American?"

"Governor Bush, what was your brother's biggest mistake in the White House, and how would you avoid making it yourself?"

"Governor Walker, what is your relationship with mafia boss RNC chairman Reince Priebus?"

"Governor Kasich, what was your role in Lehman Brothers' bankruptcy?"

"Senator Cruz, what is your most moderate position?"

"Mr. Trump, would you call yourself a conservative?"

"Governor Bush, many conservative voters have expressed doubt about your candidacy. Why should conservative voters vote for you over someone like Senator Cruz or Governor Walker?"

"Doctor Carson, what is something the Republican party gets wrong?"

"Governor Christie, you've stated that you would crack down on marijuana legalization in Colorado and other states like it, where the people have democratically legalized cannabis. Is this not a violation of the 10th amendment?"

"Governor Huckabee, what is government's role in society?"

"Mr. Trump, what is your opinion on gay marriage?"

"Governor Kasich, you first took office in congress in 1983. What is a policy of yours that has changed in this time?"

"Governor Bush, would you call yourself the front-runner in this election?"

"Senator Rubio, what was your biggest mistake and how have you learned from it?"

"Senator Paul, what will you do in the first 100 days of your presidency?"

"Mr. Trump, why do you want to be president?"

Take your pick, FOX.
