PURPOSE

The Labor Party Standing Committee acts as the headquarters of the Labor Party when the National Convention of the Labor Party is not in question. As the sole socialist party in the Republic of Atlasia, it is our mission to expand the parameters of debate in Nyman and in the Regions and ensure a dignified standard of living for all who work, with the end goal of building a democratic socialist society.

Before the party crumbles to nonexistence, with the expulsion/resignation of both Acting Chairs, and with there being no other interest in its management, I have taken the extraordinary measure of installing myself the post of Chairman of the Party.

The politburo has decided not to make an endorsement for the special election.

Statement from the Politburo:

We Socialists of the Republic of Atlasia condemn Mideast Speaker Truman for his most incompetent and foolish leadership of Mideast Assembly affairs and we demand his immediate resignation.

So say we all, fraternally.

Don't forget to give your first preference to Senator Kalwejt, our highly esteemed representative.

We recommend that you do not give any preferences to Speaker Truman or Evergreen, who are two of the worst public officials in Atlasia.
