Great Bend physician Roger Marshall in against Huelskamp. Have to wonder if LaPolice will try again.

All 4 incumbents will be reelected. End of story. If challenging Huelskamp and Pompeo didn't work last year when the KS republican party was having a full fledged civil war, it won't work out in 2016.

We'll see. I think Huelskamp can be taken down in the primary. Also, if Dems field a top level candidate for KS-2 or KS-3, we could flip one of them. It was only 2006 that we controlled 2/4 house seats...

A Democratic wave year would have to occur to flip one of the two somewhat competive seats I think.

I could see Hueselkamp losing in a primary. Regardless of ideology, he seems to just be generally bad at his job.

Huelskamp almost lost to a literal nobody. I think he'll lose this time around - he's probably the second most vulnerable Republican to a primary challenge (next to Guinta).

Republicans in right-wing areas have more to worry about from a primary challenge than the general election. DWS and her 0 state strategy will ensure that the Democrat is toast.

Yeah; states other than KS are feesable to win. But, the 50 state strategy is working and Dems will certainly make enroads this election cycle.

To my knowledge, Huelskamp's camp was caught off guard by LaPolice's strong showing in 2014. They will be more prepared in 2016, so I doubt he goes down. Would be nice to see him challenged, though.

GUESS WHO'S BACK!! Alan LaPolice! Roger Marshall appears to be well to the right of him, maybe even to Huelskamp's extent of RWNJness. I think LaPolice can vanquish Huelskamp this time around.

Jay Sidie, a financial adviser, was recruited by the DCCC to enter the race against Kevin Yoder.

The third district appears competitive thanks to Trump. Recent polling shows a very close race.
"The poll of 536 likely general election voters in the eastern Kansas district found 39 percent favored an unnamed Democratic candidate, 38 percent favored U.S. Rep. Kevin Yoder and 23 percent were undecided."

There's going to be a Democratic Primary in the 4th district between Dan Giroux, a Wichita Attorney, and Robert Tillman, a perennial candidate.

And he's written a book. It's pretty good, I'd recommend it.
