Here's a list of all Atlas forum posters (though excluding people who are banned), sorted by # of posts:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?action=mlist;sort=posts;start=0

Who's the first person on the list who you didn't know existed until you read their name there today?

I'd heard of a lot of the ones before my time (ie. Gabu, Lunar) but the first one I was completely unfamiliar with was A18.

Serious answer: Definitely remember a couple of years of A-18 (was lurking for his last 1,000 posts or so) so possibly #63 Democratic Hawk. Gabu, I have only heard of in legend and my memory of MODU is a little faint, but I have some recollection.

I think I've heard of MODU before, but I completely forgot who he was. If that doesn't count, I went back further, and have never heard of Colin (R-Switzerland).

I didn't see posts from Adam Griffin until early 2013 IIRC. Maybe I just confused him with BK and didn't pay attention.

He'd be very Sad at that, but then very Cheesy at the prospect of your discovering his posts, and maybe Wink thrilled at the chance that you might take some insights from his Smiley unique writing style.

Other than this guy named Torie (weird a guy has a female name - is he gay?), the only one I have not heard of is A18. Odd that.

A18 was actually the top poster here in 2006 (back when BRTD was only in 8th place!):

But then his posting rate dropped off dramatically, before he eventually left for good.

Ah, like Torie & Howard.  That never clicked.  I suppose it is a girl's name, but the more common one is Tori.  I guess that's why I never thought of that.  I always assumed that it was a misspelling of the term used for the loyalist-monarchist faction in the American revolutionary war.  They're called Tory.  Of course, the odd spelling that you use seemed gay, but that's another matter.

Small Business Owner of Any Repute, on the third page, was the first one I came across that I hadn't heard of.  I assume, given his length of time here, that if I clicked on the name I'd see that it is one I recognize, but by that name I don't recognize him.

He seems like he was a pretty good poster, based on a review of a few posts. I guess he grew up, and moved on in life.

A18 was just one of several Philip accounts all of which had a lot of posts: he was banned on a couple of occasions (incredibly belligerent individual early on) but kept coming back.

I've checked the first five pages and, sadly, I recognized all the names. Although I will say for some, names will not be mentioned, I had to check their account details before remembering who they were exactly... even among some still active posters. Which shows how much I pay attention.

Actually somewhat shocked to realize who I now have more posts than.

Honestly, even though I'm relatively new, I archive scour enough to know most of the names, until I got to page 3: Smash255. Who actually is posting even in 2015, but unfortunately has chosen the most generic sig possible (d-NY).
