I got linked this elsewhere. OMG this is f[inks]ing terrible. This is like that Metallica song that I thought was so bad I had to make a poll about it. Pure audio pain. Ugh.

To be fair though, I might like it if it were covered by a pop-punk or post-hardcore band, there are some classic hymns I thought sucked until I heard more modern renditions of them in those styles.

Most people who listen to emoviolence aren't Christians, and Christian emoviolence (which by the way doesn't even make up 0.1% of what I listen to...for the upcoming reason) is pretty rare. In fact I'd wager that even most people who do listen to any Christian emoviolence aren't Christians because to know about it you have to know what emoviolence is.

But the vast majority of what I listen to, Christian or not is not emoviolence, which is only a small subset of the whole scene. And most people in my scene are not Christian.

It's really unusual to actively dislike this kind of music. Most people who don't care for it just say they find it kind of boring.
