Having a southern moderate Democrat versus someone who alienates almost everyone would mean a Webb landslide:

Webb 444 - Trump 94

Trump would win the Hispanic vote and get 40% of the black vote. Wins in a landslide.

Boy, you really don't give up, do you? People on here accuse me of being a troll for Jeb Bush, but I'm not delusional. I don't think ANY Republican will win 40% of the black vote.

Here is my breakdown as to how I believe each GOP candidate could do with the black vote, keep in mind Obama won 93% of the black vote in 2012.

Bush: 15%
Walker: 7%
Kasich: 10%
Christie: 12%
Fiorina: 10%
Santorum: 4%
Carson: 25%
Huckabee: 10%
Paul: 17%
Cruz: 3%
Perry: 7%
Jindal: 8%
Graham: 9%
Pataki: 7%
Trump: 2%
Gilmore: 12%
Rubio: 10%

@Polls: Interesting to see Webb doing worse than Clinton in the South.

One:  Webb isn't real well known, even in the South.

Two:  A good many "moderate" Southern Democrats are now Republicans.  The Democratic Party in the South is just as liberal as the Democratic Party in most Northern states.

Earl and Merle Black in THE VITAL SOUTH discussed strategies for Democratic Presidential Candidates in the South.  One possibility was for the Southern Democrats to be as liberal as they wanted to be, in which case, they would be a permanent minority in the South.  That's what's happened, not so much as the Democrats planning it, but because of the tenuous coalition between "moderate" Democrats and blacks has fallen apart in the South as a result of moderate Democrats being thrown out of office.

Webb would stand a fair chance of winning LA and TX as well.
