Very far fetched. Not my best work at all.:

9-6-1901: McKinley is shot twice by anarchist Leon Czolgosz and rushed to the Buffalo Memorial Hospital. Using a new fangled invetion called the X-Ray (on display at the Grand Colombian Exposition) the bullets are found and McKinley lives.

9-21-1901: McKinley returns back to owrk.

10-15-1901: A secret service investigation led by McKinley's personal secretray John Hay reveals that Czolgosz was hired by British Agents to kill McKinley. This was not an act by the Governmrnt of the British Crown, but by British businessmen angered over McKinley's upport of a protective tariff.

11-10-1901: Outrage over the "British Conspiracy againt our beloved President," as McKinley's aide Mark Hanna put it, leads Congress to pass a resolution urging war.

11-11-1901: McKinley declares there will be no war. By now, however, American and British ties are trully severed.

12-25-1901: On Christmas Day the unpopular British Government under Prime Minister Robert Gascoyne-Cecil is forced to make concessions to Amercica. The outrage over the attempt to assasinate McKinley has turned most British Citizens against the government. The Prime Minister and his subordinates resign as King Edward VII declares an American style Constitution will be created in Britain.

1-1-1901: Even though he has overseen reforms, King Edward VII is foreced to abdicate the the throne due to the "McKinley Conspiracy" occuring under his watch. The new (and last) British King will be his son, Geoge. King George V  subsequently becomes the first British ruler of a Britain with a Constitution based on the one adopted by her former American colonies.

2-10-1902: The Great United Mine Worker's Strike begins as labor leader and sometomes rebal rouser Eugene Debs begins the strike in Terre Haut, Indiana.

2-15-1902: McKinley send the national gurad to break the strike in Indiana.

2-16-1902: The stand-off at Terre Haut begins as National Guardsmen and striking workers begin open combat in the streets. McKinley feels that striking is a hinderence to business and must be ended.

2-22-1902: The stand off at terre Haut ends with 14 dead National Gurdsmen and 22 dead strikers. The strike has spread into West Virginia, Ohio, and Eastern Illinois.

7-7-1902: A very bored Vice President Roosevelt resigns his office. "This position is about as useful as the fifth wheel on a carriage," TR tells reporters.

7-10-1902: McKinley begins mediations between labor and management in the United Mine Worker's strike.

7-11-1902: The Archduke of Austria-Huingary is forced to abdicate his throne as Pro-American Constititution protesters force his autocratic regime out of power. A new Constitution will be written for the new nations of Austira and Hungary.

9-12-1902: The Great United Mine Worker's Strike is ended by mutual mediation. Strikers will aggree to give 2 weeks notice before striking to management and management will decrease work hours and begin renevations on mines to make them safer. The strikers came out on top, but the strike was over.

1-1-1903: King George V gives independence to India. An American style Constituion will be written for the new Indian Government.

3-14-1903: The Hay-Harren treaty is ratified by the Senate. It will authorize the Construction of a Panama Canal.

3-16-1903: The Colombian Senate refuses to ratify the Hay-Harren treaty. McKinley is compliant.

4-1-1903: McKinley offers $25 million to Colombia to build a Panama Canal or to buy Panama. The Colombian Senate once again refuses.

4-3-1903: McKinley refuses to use millitary force to create independence for Panama. Former Vice President Roosevelt decalres in a speech to the New York City Histroical Society, "McKinley has shown himself once again to have the back bone of a French Eclaire!"

3-12-1903: Congress, disgusted with McKinley's actions, approproate an army to invade Colombia. This will later be declared unconstituional by the SCotUS.

8-8-1903: Australian Prime Minister Edmund Barton is forced to step down as Prime Minster as pro-American Constituion politcals elect an opposition government. Australia will establish a American-like Constituion.

8-6-1903: The new Australian Constituion is ratified as is the Indian Constituion.

11-18-1903: The Colombian Government finally excepts the sum of $35 million for rights to a Panam Canal Zone. The Treaty of Hay-Bunau-Varilla will be ratified by both nation's Senates by January 1904.

3-4-1904: Seeing defeat as imminent, Russian reformists call for an American Style Constituion in Russia. Czar Nicholas II may be forced to comply as "Nicky's War" becomes more unpoular every day.

4-15-1904: The Czar finally conceds to reality. He authorizes a State Duma and a Constitional Convention. The Convention is dominated by Mensheviks though.

7-10-1904: The Republican National Convention opens in Chicago. The fornt runners for the Republican nomination are former Vice President Theodore Roosevelt, Massachusettes Senator Henry Cabot Lodge, Indiana Senator Charles Fairbanks, Iowa Governor Charles Cummins, and House Speaker Joseph Gurney Cannon of Illinois.

Lodge and Roosevelt are extremely close and will not oppose each other.

The Loose Bandage is quite silly once it gets into the Charles-Foster-Cane-destroys-America stuff.

Any timeline which ends up saying McKinley lives is pretty ridiculous. He would be 162 years old.
