Bush didn't seem ready and was nervous, Rubio seemed overprepared and robotic. I will say Bush because he has the most to lose.

Bush given that I had high expectations. Although Rubio comes close.

I feel like this is a good taste of what to expect at the Fox debate, and I for one am very much looking forward to seeing Jeb crash and burn on primetime.

Jebbo better start changing his tone for the debate, other dudeabides may have a heart attack from Bush's inevitable downfall from a poor debate.

Continue to call everyone RINOs.

Anyway while Bush wasn't spectacular I thought the weakest performance was from Rubio. Perhaps being there physically would've helped him but he was just flat throughout the whole thing.

... At this rate, either Matt Walker will be the moderator or Kasich will win the debate next round.

Bush looked strange through the entire thing, then his performance with sub-par. Rubio was bad but not as bad compared to "my dad and bro used 2 b prez".

Rick Perry by a healthy margin. He sounded totally unhinged in his answers. He has a problem with connecting his answers to an appropriate emotional temperament, and I think its a problem that ails him.

I didn't think Jeb did too bad in terms of actual performance (he was middle/slightly below middle of the pack), but in terms of expectations, he did a very bad job. Rubio's answers to policy specific questions were pretty awful too.

Santorum's "Dred Scott" answer certainly gives him at least some consideration.

Oops, wrote all my thoughts in the other thread. I'll go with Rubio, for being terribly dull and unimpressive, even though "Jeb Swag Store" was cringe worthy.

You guys do know that Jeb wasn't trying to act like a rapper when he said "swag", right?

Jindal was the worst, but then he didn't matter anyway.

More people will probably see coverage of the event than the event itself. Here is an example from Morning Joe which is a good gauge of beltway conventional wisdom

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/morning-joe-panel-pans-stunningly-inarticulate-jeb-bush/

They were very hard on Bush. Mark Halperin (who in general is deep in the tank for Bush) said Bush was "not sharp all night" and "if he shows up like that on Thursday, it will set him back in a big way". He also noted "even some of his supporters are concerned"

I decided Ted Cruz did the worst. He's just too slick.

Walker did the best IMO.

Rick Perry seemed like he was yelling the entire time, and he didn't answer any questions, reverting to 'Texas has blah blah blah' every time.

And Bush was bad too, I don't know how he consistently has double digits in the polls.

Pataki is the only one who actually made me cringe. I can't even put my finger on why I like him even less than other "not serious" candidates....I just do.

As for Jindal, he's not bad at answering questions, but his voice kills him. He sounds like a twelve-year old who hasn't yet hit puberty. It's superficial, I know, but he just doesn't SOUND presidential at all.
