Wow, great job on the upset picks this week! 5 out of 6 on 6 different games!! Holy cow! Should've put the bets in there. Especially those two ACC ones - incredible calls.

On the actual slate of games...not so much. Less than 4 of 7 on average, and Baylor was a somewhat easy call that we all picked, so under half right outside of Baylor.

Thanks for everyone that participated in week 5
To add a level of complexity and make some of the picks more interesting, I will If it is OK with everyone I will allow people to pick games against the spread as well as straight up, this will make predictions more interesting for weeks with less marquee games.  I will use the same scoring system for spread picks as straight up, but score them separate.

Here are week 6 picks   Spread
Northwestern at Michigan  Michigan by 8
Wisconsin at Nebraska  Nebraska by 2.5
TCU at Kansas State  TCU by 8.5
Miami at Florida State FSU by 9
California at Utah  UTAH by 6.5
Bonus: Your upset pick (Straight up)
One game where the favorite will cover the spread and another where the favorite will not cover the spread (please choose a different game then the ones listed above)

please just identify your spread pick and straight up pick, as well as spreads change please list what the spread is for the bonus spread picks) Please note I am getting the spreads off of ESPN listed under BETONLINE.ag

Michigan covers.
Wisconsin pulls the upset.
TCU covers.
FSU covers.
Utah covers.

Minnesota (-3) covers @ Purdue. BC (-7.5) vs Wake does not.
Connecticut (+2) defeats UCF.

(For the record, I think this is a little too much to be picking for future weeks. Gets a bit much though won't stop me from playing.)

Oregon without Mariota has played really disappointing. This season shows how great Mariota was.

Stanford wins/covers
NW wins outright
Alabama wins/covers
Michigan wins does NOT cover
LSU wins does NOT cover

UCONN
Baylor beats 18 point spread
Wisconsin wins but can't cover the 20.5 spread

edit-and I just noticed me and SJoyce have a different spread for the Baylor/WVU game....is there an "official" place to get spreads?  Mine comes from cbssports.com...I'm very limited as to where I can find spreads on my computer at work.

Ouch, extremely tough week this will be. Only Utah with confidence.

Clemson wins and covers
Alabama wins, fails to cover
Ole Miss wins, fails to cover
Utah wins outright

Temple (+2.5) upsets East Carolina - not that this is a guarantee, but there are like 10* pretty good upset picks this week! Sagarin misjudging a lot of teams.
Missouri (-2.5) will cover vs. Vanderbilt
Boise State (-35) will fail to cover vs. Wyoming

[Not for this contest, but I want credit for saying I'd take the following straight-up: Georgia Southern +6.5; Northwestern +7.5; Furman +8; Morgan State +4.5; and Cal (with small reservations) +3

Considering what SMU and WIU are paying (+360), I might throw some on those and hope for a bit of luck. maybe with the spread would be better. North Dakota +12.5 was obscenely large as well but I won't throw an outright there.

Actually a lot of games I feel confident in picking; just not those two given SEC matchups!]
