If I was president I would kick Utah out of the union because it blatantly allows polygamy (this has been in a few news items, they only prosecuted that 1 guy a few years ago, there are still thousands of other families like his that they tolerate). When Utah became a state in 1896 it was with the understanding that they would never allow polygamy, since they are defying this, I say throw them out. They could turn it into their own little theocratic republic.


Do they give state recognition to poligamous marriages?
No, it's just a bunch of people living together.
