He held back. He was really popular because he previously didn't hold back. Tonight he sounded like a politician, and if he keeps doing that, he is done.

Well, he certainly violated one of the core tenets of why his supporters like him - his willingness to speak and answer honestly. He skirted around pretty much every question and offered no specifics. He's not done for, but I think this hurt.

Of course he did; exposure is Trump's weakness. He won no supporters with his rambling answers and probably lost a few supporters. If you take the focus group's answers to heart that's what conclusion you'll reach. Anyone thinking Trump improved his position with this is being overly optimistic. Trump may stay around the same level for a while but soon he'll fade like all the media splash candidates (Cain, Bachmann, Newt) did.
