With economics and foreign policy, I think moderate Republican describes me best.

On social issues I'm probably more libertarian. I'm younger than your typical Republican.

Overall I chose moderate.

I'm more of a libertarian than I am a conservative. I classify myself as moderately liberal to very liberal on social issues and foreign policy and very conservative on fiscal policy.

I'm a mix of Libertarian and Conservative, so I picked Moderate.

Same as me.

Conservative on fiscal/economic issues.

Libertarian on pretty much every social issue except abortion.

Kinda libertarian but not really on foreign policy, I guess just moderate.

I am a hybrid between a conservative and a libertarian on domestic issues, I'm definitely a conservative on foreign policy. Overall, I describe myself as a conservative.

On economic issues, I am more conservative than libertarian but still both. I am for tax reform, my favorite proposal being the Fair Tax. I am for fewer regulations, less government intervention in the economy overall, free trade, and like the libertarians I'm a huge critic of the Federal Reserve. I am against corporate subsidies and against a large social welfare state, though I am okay with a safety net and want to keep social security, medicare, and medicaid though I think more power should be at the state level, especially on medicaid.

Socially and culturally, I am more of a 50/50 combination. I am pro-life and take the same position on abortion as the RNC 2012 platform - I believe in exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother. On gun control, I am against banning guns but for background checks. I don't believe the federal government should be involved in same-sex marriage and I have no problem with same-sex marriage personally. I am not with the libertarians on criminal justice issues - I am for capital punishment, against letting felons vote, and I am against the legalization of marijuana though I am for decriminalization and for allowing it for medical purposes, it's a state issue though.

Foreign policy wise, I am definitely not a libertarian. I am essentially for the foreign policy conducted by George W. Bush and am for his homeland security policies as well. I take a more centrist position on immigration policy, I agree with what Jeb Bush is saying.

Net, I'd say I'm 65% conservative 39% libertarian 1% independent

I'd describe my ideology as conservative. I'm a foreign policy hawk and believe that if America leaves the world stage, that void will be filled by countries who do not share our reverence for freedom and justice such as Iran, Russia, and China. I'm a conservative on domestic issues and believe that we need to cut the federal government down to size in order to unleash the American dream like it's never been before. I'm also a social conservative who believes that America was made great by the strength of her people's faith in God and I believe in life, marriage, and strong families. I believe that a free and open society can only work when people are moral, or else it devolves into a chaotic cesspool. The more people self govern by God's law, the less need there is for oppressive government intervention.

I'm socially moderate (conservative on abortion and guns, liberal on gay marriage and immigration) and economically laissez-faire, so I picked moderate.

With that set of options, I go with Conservative.

I might be tempted to say socially conservative, fiscally moderate or something of that sort too, but I'm even fiscally to the right of many of the "moderate Republicans" in a lot of ways. Then again, I agree with the Democrats on economics a decent chunk of the time too. In general on fiscal matters, I don't think the system should be rigged for or against anyone and I do support a limited means-tested social welfare state. On the other hand, I also think there have to be consequences for not doing what you're supposed to do. For example, there have to be actual consequences of not doing your job if you want anyone to do theirs. Basically, I try to be merciful and compassionate but also have a sense of tough love in me too. Being from the rust belt, perhaps surprisingly, I do support free trade.

On social issues, I'm, as Marokai once described me, "severely conservative". I do oppose the death penalty and generally support increased immigration within the bounds of reason.

If I were filling out an exit poll for a GOP primary?  Liberal or moderate.  Asked by a non-Republican?  Moderate.

By media and Tea Party standards, moderate.  By everyone else's standards, conservative.  Overall, pretty much a run of the mill center-right guy, with some Christian democrat, green, and feminist tendencies.

I'd probably call myself a progressive conservative or an Eisenhower Republican.  On domestic issues, I'm definitely a neocon, but I'd say I'm a bit more moderate on foreign policy.  The 1956 GOP platform summarizes my views well.

I don't really know what to call my views. They aren't consistent enough to be called libertarian and are further right than what I consider to be moderate, so I guess conservative fits, albeit a version of conservatism that lacks influence from the religious right.

If I have to put myself in a box, I'd say "less government conservative."

Fiscally, I'm a budget hawk first and foremost who thinks that government has not earned more money (no new taxes) - especially at the federal level. I'm strongly opposed to expanded welfare including corporate welfare.

Socially, I'm strongly socon when it comes to abortion, libertarian on guns, and thinks governments should stay out of the other social issues. Education should at the local level without federal interference. As far as peoples' personal lives, they aren't my business.

On Foreign policy, I'd classify myself as a realist closer to Reagan or Eisenhower than Bush.

If I had to chose one I'd say Libertarian.  My views are close to that of Ron Paul with some exceptions.

Weird, I was expecting more libertarians and fewer moderates.

On the site overall there are, but I think that moderates are far more comfortable with identifying as "republicans" than us libertarians.

Social issues: moderate, leaning libertarian on some issues (i.e. drugs) and leaning conservative on other issues
Fiscal issues: conservative, leaning libertarian
Foreign policy: neocon except for the fact that I'm not obsessed with democracy, but simply want to implement regimes that are friendly to the West (who are not total dictators/HPs and who strive for more freedom)
