What's the most you've ever spent on shoes?

I've always found the obsession with super expensive shoes to be really silly, as I do with the obsession over expensive fashion in general.

I pretty much always shop at discount shoe stores. Most of my shoes cost like $25 and last years. I spent $40 on a pair of boots during the winter and thought that was way too much, but for boots there aren't many options below that unless you get them at a thrift store.
