The insinuation by some here that fashion or caring about how you look is only for women is ludicrous.

$150, though you'd be surprised by the quality of stuff you can find in second-hand stores. For example, I got a pair of vintage Kodiaks much like the ones below for $12. These pictures are a step down though... the colour and shine of mine are just interesting. These ones look boring.





They're the most heavy-duty boots I've ever owned and will last forever.
