Well, it is an odd reaction. For exampl, I am not attracted to fat people at all; but I wouldn't turn down sex because a skinny person used to be a fat person. That would of course be bonkers; and there is very little difference between that scenario and a woman who used to be a man (or vice versa).

To be honest though I think this highlights a good example of how this type of extreme political correctness can easily contradict itself when taken so far. For example it reminds me of when Antonio was flipping out over that a woman could request that a sperm donor be of the same race as she is and was amazed that was even legal....and then got mocked for it by some people making the very valid point that he was basically arguing she shouldn't have a choice about whose sperm goes into her body.

So it shows that simple common sense should simply be used as the standard.

I disagree. Trans people still have the same chromosomes as "assigned" by birth. By contrast, people who used to be fat weren't "assigned" that way (even though they might have a predisposition to obesity).

There are probably people who would even consider this comment "transphobic", but I think people who don't want to neglect this biological reality when seeking a partner aren't necessarily "transphobic".
