Who is your dream candidate that isn't running?

Not that he would be a dream "candidate' (because he wouldn't), but moving on to a dream POTUS, for me, probably Senator Portman comes closest. If there really were someone out there who would be a dream "candidate," such person would in fact probably be running.

And then there is Richard Lamm. He was before the time of most of you, so you don't remember him, but I do, and he greatly appealed to the misanthropic side of my nature. My brother adored him, because my brother thought the planet was a few billion overpopulated. Perhaps it's time to bring him out of mothballs.
